This collection is a redesign of current-day labels in historical art styles. From left to right, these designs are based on Jules Chéret from the Belle Époche period, modernist designer Reid Miles, and work from the high-point of the Vienna Succession movement.

With design instructions from the client, these four cards were created in coordination with other students to develop a 72-card tarot deck. I converted hand-drawn designs into digital illustrations and prepared files for print production.

As a way to explore new artistic styles and challenge myself creatively, I began a working set of illustrations where I reimagine insects as humanoid creatures. There are peculiar designs in nature, ones that sometimes seem more alien than natural, and through this series I hope to highlight that contradiction.
